16 02 28: speech of H.E. Undersecretary Dr. A. Gadoom during the Workshop. We were very honoured. I was happy to see him again.

16 02 29: In the city of Gedaref (420 km south-east of Khartoum) on our way to the Ministry of Agriculture of the State of Gedaref.

Gedaref: On our way to the Ministry we pass by at several places with material to build the round huts

The refugee issue is known here as well. Many come due to the drouhgt in Ethiopia.

These vehicles are used for transporting wheat, sesame etc., used in addition to trucks.

Here you can also find modern production units. This is a sesame production I visited last year.
